The tube sheets are carefully matched, guaranteeing a tight and efficient system.  To reinforce the tube-to-tube sheet connection, we employ an expanding process.     The outer cylindrical vessel that contains the tube bundle and the shell-side fluid. Shell material use Mild steel, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel.

    Tubes

    Numerous small-diameter (1/4" 5/16" 3/8” 1/2" 5/8” 3/4” ... upto 2" (6mm to 52mm)) tubes that carry the vapor to be condensed. The tube materials are Copper, Cupronickel (70:30/90:10), SS304/316, and MS, Brass (Seamless, External/Internal Grooved, Extruded, and Spiral Wound Fin Tube).

Shell and Tube Condenser

Our Shell and Tube Condensers are reliable and efficient heat transfer devices used for condensing vapors into liquid form. They are widely employed in industries where heat recovery, energy conservation, and vapor recovery are crucial. These condensers are designed to provide optimal performance and durability.

Working  Principle

Our shell and tube type condenser consists of a cylindrical steel shell containing a number of straight water tubes, placed horizontally. The condenser tubes are made either from steel or copper, With or without fins. The steel tubes without fins are generally used in ammonia refrigerating systems, because ammonia corrodes the copper tubing. The tube sheets are welded to the shell at both the ends. The removable cover boxes are provided to the shell at each end to facilitate the cleaning of condenser. The intermediate supports are provided in the shell to avoid sagging of the tubes.
